The Red Devils Poised to Secure German Striker Lea Schüller away from the Bavarian Giants
The Women's Super League club are on the verge of sealing the deal for prolific Germany forward Lea Schüller in a permanent move away from the Frauen-Bundesliga champions.

The forward, with half a year left on her contract, has been a prolific goal-getter for her club and the national team. Having netted over 100 goals for the German giants and scored 54 times in 82 caps for her country. Her arrival is viewed as a major coup for the Women’s Super League team.
Her exit from Munich has been anticipated since she was seen holding back emotions while applauding the club's fans after a victory over Bayer Leverkusen recently.
It was reported in late December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was losing one of its leading strikers. According to reports, the formalities for the move are now finalised.
Reliable Goal Threat to Boost United's Forward Line
The 28-year-old’s arrival should represent a major boost to the team's attacking options. She has been remarkably consistent in front of goal in Germany’s top flight.
- For seven straight seasons, up to and including the last term, she reached at least a double-figures tally of league goals.
- She won the Golden Boot in 2021-22 season with a haul of 16 goals.
