Close to Ninety Air Travels Associated to Epstein Allegedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airfields

A review has found that approximately 90 aircraft journeys associated to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from UK airfields, with some reportedly transporting women from the UK who claim they were victimized by the convicted child sex offender.

Flight Logs Reveal Trail of Travel

These aviation records were part of a trove of legal papers and files released by Epstein’s estate that have been released over the last year. The investigation uncovered 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein – featuring many that were hitherto undisclosed – landing or taking off from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.

Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Travel

Unnamed women were documented among the travelers flying to and from the UK. Notably, 15 of these flights involving the UK happened after Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a underage person.

“This is ‘appalling’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his activities in the country,” remarked US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein survivors.

UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings

Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. Yet, that victim has not received any contact by police in the UK, according to her attorney based in Florida.

In a response, the the Met stated they had “not received any new information that would support reopening the inquiry.” They noted, “Should new and relevant evidence be presented to us, including any arising from the release of material in the US, we will assess it.”

Continuing Document Release and Judicial Decisions

Proposed legislation to disclose all files held by the American government in relation to Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of documents are anticipated to be released.

Additionally, a US judge decided last week that the department could publicly release investigative materials from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s long-term associate, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
